Box figures for air conditioners, dehumidifiers and air purifiers often come from older or friendlier tests than the one the US Department of Energy requires. The certified figure is public. But it sits in a government database keyed by factory model codes, not by the names on Amazon. FiledRating connects the two, and names the test behind each figure.
